That's too bad, man. I'm greatly anticipating the new Star Wars. It can't get here fast enough for my liking.Wombat said:...as far as Episode 3 is concerned...
Star Wars has plummeted so vastly downhill since Empire Strikes Back, being utterly iced in my mind by "Episode 1" that Ebert would have to rise out of the grave, grab me by the collar, and tell me, "No, man! It's as good as Citizen Kane!" for me to even consider seeing it.
This is another case of it's my own problem and I'll be recieving the necessary therapy, but I still get strange tics and nausea when I think of Jar-Jar, the destruction of yet another DeathStar, and the rest of that travesty...

But Gene Siskel rising up and striking the lightsaber, now THAT would make me go see it.

Nope. It's the newest M. Night film. Recently renamed from "The Woods."Holy Bovine said:please tell me this isn't based on the 60's TV show The Prisoner. I hated that overrated piece of dung.

That's not a bad way to look at Episode I. I didn't hate him as much as most people do. I actually find him to be a tragic character especially after reading the novelization of the film by Terry Brooks. I thought he was an okay character. But I'd rather see Jar-Jar than an Ewok ever again.Welverin said:In the immortal words of jdavis:
Parts of episode one were great and other parts had Jar Jar in them.
