What about my dragonborn

Guys, stop with the hating. It's a bloody fantasy game. Why are you objecting to there being fantastic options for your characters?

Seriously. If folks want humans to be the only options, go outside and LARP.

I'm hoping Wizards will stick to their guns and include all races from the PHB1's(which, like classes is somewhere around 10), though I'd like to see some of the elven races compressed into "subraces".

I don't mind waiting for the first book for dadongborn (My cousin will hate it and moan for weeks for the official version)

As long as I get one non-Tolkien-wannabe race, I'll be fine.

I am bored to neardeath of the core 4 races.

I am amazed at the inability of some to tell when tongue is firmly planted in cheek.

Hey! If you're going to shoot us gnomes, I expect to require my own ammunition. No being cheap and trying to get rid of us by lumping us in with someone else.

That's the spirit!! As a lover of dragonborn I feel united with my abused gnome cousins (lousy halfling/dwarf ripoffs that they are....)

I like exotic races like dragonborns, tieflings and devas, but I'm not so sure they should be in the core rulebook.

I think they'd be perfect in the second player handbook, where we can get into races and classes that are a bit weirder.

Hopefully the first player's handbook will be big enough that it has the weird stuff in it already. 3.x did alright on that.
