I've always loved the concept of the cursed yet useful weapon, such as: a half spear that allows to sneak attack as a rogue but acts as a cursed backbiter on a critical hit or an assassin's dagger that shortens observation time for a death attack but poisons its wielder with each kill. Yours is a fine addition to the list, Dr. Rictus.
