What am I missing this fall?

I'm going to watch another season of Tru Calling. Don't know how fox managed to keep if for a second seaso, but it is interesting enough to keep me tuned in.
Actually, they're having second thoughts.

Lost, I'm not sure of. Ya, its great the previews aren't giving anything away but at the same time I'm not sure a show can keep the mystery and be entertaining.
I'd probably watch it because (1) location shot in Hawaii; and (2) Meriadoc Brandybuck as a rock star/drug addict.

Well, this is about the weakest TV season I can remember. Just a few years ago, there were enough good shows on broadcast TV alone (I don't have cable) that I couldn't watch everything I wanted to. This year, I was looking forward to three shows: Smallville, Joan of Arcadia, and Tru Calling. I hadn't heard of anything else that even sounded interesting. Now, I find out that Tru is as good as dead. On the plus side, I do think I'll check out Lost, but I'm not sure it'll hold my attension.

Edit: JAG and Alias have been on the cusp of my interest for a while, now. I may take the opportunity to give them a go.

Nostalgia? QEftSG? What has nostalgia to do with it?

I think he meant to say 'novelty', there. Queer Eye's ratings are significantly lower this season than last, which is somewhat suprising, given how they've been trying to keep it fresh. Either way, I still find it pretty entertaining. Of course, that's par for the course for many 'reality' shows. Few manage to keep an audience for an extended period...and QE was massively over-exposed last year.

Deadwood rounds out my must see list that also includes both SGs, three CSIs, and Enterprise. I might have to add Lost to that list depending on how it does out of the box.

Charisma Carpenter will be guesting on Charmed this season. The seaon premiere of the show has finally gotten a concept that get Alyssa Milano *naked*!!! She is Lady Godiva, so covered with way too much hair but maybe there will be a breeze.... :D

sorry, got distracted there. There is a Nancy Drew clone called Veronica something (check IMDB...) Mars. "Veronica Mars" looks like it might be fun.

Dominic Monaghan, Merry from the LotR movies, is in a series called "Lost"; that might be okay. 48 members in the cast and $5 million dollar pilot episode. Apparently created by the guy who did "Alias".

I'm looking forward to "Wizard of Earthsea" in December.

Apparently? :p

Naw, JJ created it and it will at the very least be entertaining. The man knows how to make TV shows.
