What are the coolest props you've used?

1. Yes, and I touched it too.

2. I used a high quality sock puppet I picked up from a local children's book store of a dodo bird to represent a PC's familiar. In my games, talking familiars are managed as NPCs. I may be the worst ventriloquist ever, but the wise-talking dodo bird managed to keep everyone in character.

The best prop in one of my games was actually handled by a player. He drew the Fates card from a Deck of Many Things (the avoid any situation once card), then proceeded to be dying as his airship dived uncontrolled towards a major city. With his final action, he pulled out and threw onto the table a photoshopped Get Out Of Jail Free card he had made. Startled the hell out of me, and saved his neck.

Another prop I once used was a miniature hanger from a package of socks that became the arcane mark of an evil sorcerer.

And yes, I've seen a reindeer at a zoo. I was not too terribly impressed.

Demiurge out.
