What are they going to call wizards?

In 1E, the term is magic-user.

In 2E, the term is mage.

In 3E, the term is wizard.

In 4E, the term is ??

To follow the pattern, I guess 4E would be "whiz"?

For a hint of the pattern, 5E would likely be "arcane caster", and I guess 6E could be "arcanist"? It's tenuous, but fun!

D

Because classes names are too long. Fighters become A, Clerics B, Rogues C and Wizards D. Streamline, streamline, streamline, that is their mantra.

Well, if they have an "at will" ability to blast targets, some will call him......

.....Tim

Nice.

As an aside, it always sounds to me like he says "Tim?" rather than just "Tim". I guess casting so many fireballs have made him forget his name.
