What are they going to call wizards?

There was once a thread on RPG.net about "why the wizard has been called magic-user in older editions", and one poster remarked that if you called your spellcaster "magic-user", you could go just ahead and start calling him "supernatural effects administrator".

So that gets my vote.

It won't be wiz. It will be ard. In 5th edition, then, that will be lengthened to ardent.

Alternatively, they'll be harries.

They'll just use the first syllable of Wizard; but two letters is not enough so they'll just double the last letter. A Wizard will be called a Wii.
