Algolei,

I don't know if you remember but gurgi used to post on the dragonsfoot and Mortality boards.

If I remember correctly, he died while serving his country in the Middle East.

Wow, that is terrible. I hope you are wrong, but the site seems to be down which isnt a good sign.

No! I don't remember that. Wow, that's awful.

Just sort of sad and creepy all over, like a vicerally wrong modern horror film.
You should try it from where I'm sitting. :\

(Hmm. I can't decide if I should end on a joke or not.)

(Ahh, so I won't.)

I hope he didn't owe me any money.

Are you sure? I found this post in 2004 by Tim Nash (gurgi): http://www.drobe.co.uk/forum/index.php?task=view_topic&topic_id=318&forum_id=3&order=desc

Also, I've just dug this up - a post by gurgi about Goblin on Mortality.net:
Press release [to be issued for general public]
Classification: Alpha 1 (not classified)
Ref 00254 Hod
At 10:30 AM GMT this morning Flight Lieutenant Kenneth Neil Hod OBE (known on these boards as Goblin or Gobo Scholar)
Was killed while on an over sea’s operational duty. His death leaves behind a wife and two children.
While details are not yet available nor will they be available for the foreseeable future it can be said he died doing his duty for both Queen and country. He has served in the Royal Air Force for over sixteen years, Both as NCO and as a commissioned officer and while his records will be covered under the official secrets act he has served with distinction earning over 9 medals for tours of active duty and bravery. His other many achievements include a BSc in criminology and mathematics from Durham University and an OBE for his services to the crown.
Please do not ask for details of his death they are covered under the special provision of the Official Secrets Act
Nor will there be a book of condolence, online or off. Details of the funeral arrangements will be made available, he will be buried with full military honours at my families crypt in St Marys Church RAF Halton lying along side my brother. As a soldier he was brave as a brother in all but name he was kind.
Yours Cdr T.A Nash MBE, MSC
Cheers,
Liam

Algolei, I hereby find thee guilty of thread necromancy. Since the only way for thee to be a necromancer, thou must be a witch, thou art sentenced to the trial! I dost suggest mentally readying thyself, for few survive the trial, and those that do must thereafter burn!

That's funny.
