What are YOU buying this year?

thundershot

Adventurer
I was talking to my wife about what I'm planning on buying for the rest of the year, and she reminded me about minor details such as food. That, and the comic book habit I've had for the past 18 years.

Well, here goes:

SEPTEMBER (and things that I have to still pick up)

Quintessential Monk
Quintessential Witch
Dragonstar: Guide to the Galaxy
Alchemy & Herbalists
Minions: Fearsome Foes
Villains

OCTOBER

Quintessential Psychic Warrior
Kingdoms of Kalamar DM Screen
Dragonstar: Imperial Supply
Book of Vile Darkness (I'm going to peruse it first, to make sure it's not TOO gross for my tastes)

NOVEMBER

d20 Modern
Ultramodern Firearms
Tome of Horrors
Kingdoms of Kalamar: Complete Arms & Equipment Guide
Quintessential Druid
Interludes: Sands of Pain
Dragonstar: Raw Recruits
Arsenal

DECEMBER

Quintessential Samurai
Dragonstar: Galactic Races

FUTURE

Savage Species
Arms & Equipment Guide
Fiend Folio
Airships
Faeries
Dragonstar: Heart of the Machine
Dry Land: Empires of the Dragon Sands
(also any Quintessentials, Oathbound, or Bluffside products)

I'm sure you'll all put me to shame. :D

EDIT: Added a few things
Chris

I'm not as familiar with many future titles but I'll list what I know.

Oathbound: Still haven't found a copy.

Path of series: Sword and Magic were very well done and I really look forward to more from FFG.

AEG's one word titles: They have so improved the quality of these books. Mercaniers was very well done, and from what I've read of Magic it's even better. All I know is they have a title Good coming out, I'm sure there are others

Some of the Quint Books: I'm not sure I really need a Witch book, but I'm really looking forward to them getting back to the PHB classes and races.

Badaxe Games books: THe Dwarf book is very nice, I haven't seen the half orc one yet. I think they also have an elf book coming out.

Anything by Aaron Loeb: The Book of the Rightious was amazing. He seems to also be one of the nice people in the industry from what I gather from his posts and some e-mails. He is one author that I am anctiously awaiting to see what else he does.

Bluffside: I really like this city and I want more.

As soon as I'll get it (i.e., I already ordered it and it's on its way):

Monster Manual 2
GURPS Special Ops 3rd edition
GURPS Modern Firepower
GURPS WWII: Return to Honor
BESM 2nd edition revised
Buffy RPG
Pendragon RPG

Later:

Exalted: The Lunars
maybe some Vampire stuff (Victorian Age, probably)
some more GURPS (e.g., Vikings)

I'll probably only get the druid/barbarian class book from WotC (call of the wild?), and everything published for Dragonstar besides the Starfarer's Handbook, which I already have.

I MIGHT indulge my OA and FR compulsion - currently I have only the FR, LoD, MoF, OA, and Rokugan books. Of course, none of my players cares about EITHER setting, but I love them both hehe :)

I'll probably also fill out my Seas of Blood collection, by collecting more than the Seas of Blood core book.

Well we have 2 new products that will be here before 2003 ("Interludes: Sands of Pain" and "Dry Lands") and some of our stuff like a book that will be announced in October is a supplement book that will be part of MEG's Arcane Myseries line, but written by the TG brand guys... more on that later. For Dragonstar, "Raw Recruits" will be out in Oct/Nov and it is a 160 page adventure supplement that will be awesome followed in Jan/Feb 2003 with a 64 page adventure supplement called "Heart of the Machine".

Ok, what I am waiting for:
Mutants and Masterminds
The Book of the Avatars
Savage Species
Oathbound goodies
Aerial 1-3
and any Dragonstar stuff from FFG and us.
Anything Monte Cook
Judge Dredd stuff
and I know I am missing stuff

What I am looking forward to having people see is:
Interludes: Sands of Pain and Dry Lands
Vigilance: Absolute Power, working on the art and it looks great
Foul Locales: Beyond the Walls
Nat20's print of Tournaments, Fairs and Taverns
I will have a sneak look at the art for Ambient's Necro's Legacy in the next week or so.......
Since I have started at MEG all I can say is take a look at the newer stuff, we are getting better and better each book!

Thanks, Hal. I really look forward to getting these and all future Bluffside products.
