D&D 5E What are YOU doing for monsters until MM release?

I just ran a couple sessions of the ol' Sunless Citadel, and honestly hardly modified any stats at all (primarily rats, kobolds, and goblins, not to mention the water mephit that they simply ran from')

I normalized skill checks to either 10 or 15, depending on difficulty, and kept the same hit points and attack mods for monsters.

Whether I was accurate or not, in the end, didn't seem to matter. It was just the right amount of difficulty, and everyone had fun.

So... Success!

Conversion is pretty easy. I've been doing that, and creating my own, for a quite a while now using your best guess based on the monsters we do have. I've done a lot of traditonal ones that way too, like Umber Hulk. When they're finally released, I just make updates, but so far my conversions have been really, really close to the final deal, so the differences in game play are not noticeable.
