What are you going to do with ur 3.0 books after 3.5 comes out?

Although I likely won't use my 3.0 core rulebooks much after 3.5 comes out, I'm gonna hang on to them: They've got so many memories attached to them, it would break my heart to give them away.

Finally let the spine fall off them and allow the papers within to flutter around my house, finally free from the cruel bondage that is their hard covers and glued spine.

They have served me well, and they yearn for freedom, already the pages within the PHB have attempted to gain their freedom, and the pages of the other core books are trying to break free of the spine also. It is only a matter of time before they gain their hard-sought freedom and escape.

And with the 3.5 hardcovers in hand, I will welcome it, instead of my feelings of dread that strikes at me now when I see the binding disintegrate under the weight of time.

My 3E Core Rulebooks will go into storage, but everything else will remain, since I remain confident that they can be used (at least to some degree) with 3.5E.

I'll be giving mine away to some high school kids. They're trying to use the SRD to play, which is fine, but they will appreciate the books.

I'll keep mine for the collection, although I have to give props to Hal for donating them to the library so others can game on. Very cool.

I will help gaming keep alive, and I have 2 sets so I am y keep one and give one ;), but definately donate a set, it may influence the next Monte Cook for 8e :p

A friend of mine, who has Gary's, Dave's, Monte's, Johnathan's, and Skip's signatures in the inside front cover of his, will be retiring it to shelf-bound duty. :)

Look at 3.5 buyer and laugh at them...

Yeah buy a book for some errate a little chnage here and there... good try wotc, but you won't get my money on this!

You'll be laughing at me, that's for sure.

My 3.0 books will gain their pride of place, as the recently disenfranchised, on the Shelf of History (tm). There, they will stand proudly beside the other fallen soldiers of RPG history, to be taken down and enjoyed time and again, when nostalgia strikes.

Perhaps the time will come soon when nostalgia will force me to repurchase my long lost and oft remembered 'Red Box' set, so foolishly banished in a fit of pique, when AD&D came to sway my heart. [dabs at eye] Erol, come home! All is forgiven!

I think I'll pass mine down to my little sister. :D

Come on guys. if you aren't going to use them, pass them on, or give them to a library. Help the hobby grow. :)
