And I'm using it to post becasue Xath knows that my addiction to EN World is pretty bad and she takes pitty on me and will help me get my smack.

You're just lucky I'm so nice.

3. Buying lots of stuff: Thieve's World, Explorer's Handbook, OotS prequil book, and more!

2. Running lots of games for the RPGA (I know it's an evil acronym around here, but I have fun!)

And the top thing I'm looking forward to is: (drum roll)

1. Meeting a lot of you EnWorld folks and seeing if you all are as interesting in person as you seem to be online!

Damn, wish I had money to go to GenCon... :(

Though I could save money for next year by buying less books... Hm, that's crazy, nonsense talk! :p

What I'm looking forward to...

Mostly, I'm looking forward to just enjoying the ENnies, and hanging out with some friends, and making new ones. Usually I like the shopping, but money's too tight - and besides, I've had the best of the past years' products to choose from thanks to the ENnies, and it'll take me ages to go through them anyhow!

Tuesday evening: dinner in Detroit with my friend K8ster. After a 9 hour drive, and a round of shopping for school uniforms for my teenage daughter, this will be a welcome break.

Wednesday evening: Canadiana Suite night one with the ENWorlder gathering. Hanging with my online friends, chilling out after a day and a half of driving with some of the most awesome people I know. That, and picking up my attendee bag, which should have the flyer that Hand of Evil printed for us.

Thursday morning: Finally setting up the ENnies booth after so much preparation, and getting to hand out peeps' badges, bask in the glow, etc.

Friday night: The ENnies! Yay! My daughters will be wearing matching gowns, I'm going to splurge on a new dress, and I get to see the final results of all our hard work and my personal sacrifices.

Saturday afternoon: 4-6pm. Costume Contest! And the Great Lukeski! Watch the gelflings do their latest dance number "Dark Lord of the Dance", and hopefully add to their Gen Con trophy collection. And Lukeski! Hoodyhoo! Unabashed geekfest!

Sunday 12:30-1pm: Iron Heroes demo by Mike Mearls with my sweet baboo. Hooyeah.

Sunday night: The last night of the Canadiana Suite, and a chance to hang out with my family, enjoy being in a paid-for hotel, complete with pool and exercise room. Maybe even be so bold as to order a movie in our room (I wonder if they have the Hitchhikers' Guide?)
