Monarch is the Godzilla one, right? I heard the writing is poor enough to make Anna Sawai look like a bad actress; any truth to that? (Or did Shogun just make her look amazing?)

As said below, it is silly nonsense. If you like that, great! If you want great writing and plots that make 1% sense, you won't like this.

Finished watching A Man on the Inside season 2, which is notably better than the first, though the mystery was even easier. But this series isn’t about the mystery, it’s about the characters and their interactions. If The Good Place was about ethics and the hereafter, A Man on the Inside is about gen X and our elderly parents.
