Finished watching A Man on the Inside season 2, which is notably better than the first, though the mystery was even easier. But this series isn’t about the mystery, it’s about the characters and their interactions. If The Good Place was about ethics and the hereafter, A Man on the Inside is about gen X and our elderly parents.

Great show.

Taking a look at Fallout S2 at the moment; rather enjoying it, though I’ve forgotten most of what happened in the first season. I love how terrible the Ghoul is, and the contrast with Lucy’s idealism. I do hope Maximus gets a little more to do later in the season; being sidelined while the Brotherhood fart about being idiots isn’t that entertaining. I love the way the show looks: they’ve mastered the post-apocalyptic retrofurturistic look very well.

My only complaint is they occasionally dump too much background info: one episode introduces the Legion, the Commonwealth, and the NCR all at once, which is a little much if you haven’t played the games. Oh, and I hate the fact that it’s running more-or-less concurrently with Silo - I keep getting my subterranean post-apocalyptic shows confused.

We never felt overwhelmed with info. But I get your point. Fallout is really great TV.

Watched the first episode of Resident Alien and it’s pretty great (and recognisably filmed right here in BC). I enjoyed the GN, this is different but just as good so far. May have to uncancel Netflix.

I just started rewatching "Resident Alien", after having watched it all during original release. If you have any access to CRAVE, through a cable sub with CTV, Bell cellular account, etc., then they have all 4 seasons there.

We don’t have cable and have generally resisted getting Crave (so expensive) but may have to just so we can watch the last two seasons.

I already had it through my cable service, however, I recently renewed my cell service to merge my US and Canadian access, and they threw in CRAVE as part of the deal.
