what can't an antimagic field protect me from?

If I cast Antimagic Field, what spells am I still at risk from? It seems like I'm pretty immune from the attacks of any other magic user so long as it is up.

Also, can I cast spell from inside that are directed at some other area, like Charm?

Disjunction, Discern Location, anything cast by a Cheater of Mystria (sp?). Do worry about that barbarian with Power Attack and a greatsword, though; his buffs have mostly been turned off... but more of the stuff you depend on has.....

Depending on interpertation, any Conjouration(Creation) Instant attack power, such as the Orb line or Acid Splash can be cast at you from ourside.

Nope. You can't cast at all.

Beware of large summoned monsters. A summoned creature can't enter the area, but the rules do not prevent it from reaching into the area to smack you around.

Spells that can be used on you are:

Telekinesis: pick up a large, mundane object outside the AM field and throw it at you. IIRC that is caster-level x d6 attack.

Wall of Stone/Iron: conjured right outside the AM field and toppled onto you.

Divinations: Depending on the GM, AM field may not prevent some divinations from providing information about you since an AM field is not a diety.

Darkness/Silence: the area not in the AMF is still dark which blocks any outside light so the inside of the AMF is probably dark, alternately silence blocks noise getting into/out of AMF.

Cloud spells: while any acid or solid aspect does not directly affect you, they still obstruct line of sight.

Earthquake: a small area around you is unaffected by the spell directly, however the ground beneath & and around that is still doing the hokey pokey. I might give a +2 to saves & concentration checks but maybe not.

Lower water: welcome to a hole in the ocean. I guess you'd be about 5' higher than normal.

Illusions: any not within the AMF will still be as effective against you.

Plant Growth: Overgrowth. The plants outside the AMF will grow to the entangling size and will impede movement.

Prismatic wall: AMF is specifically unable to penetrate it.

This is a bit of a stretch. This assumes that the word "enters" means uses movement to enter as opposed to it meaning reaching in. Since Summoned Monsters are effectively spells for the purpose of dispelling / antimagic, it seems more reasonable to use the overlapping spells rules instead.

Note: There is some debate on dispelling multiple creatures from the same Summon Monster spell. If you dispel one, some people say that they all go since it is one spell. Other people state that only the one goes away.

There are some restrictions on how much these affect the caster. If the center point of these spells (which are emanations or spreads) are within the area of the AMF, then they will not work at all.

They will only work if the center point is outside the AMF in which case, their effects tend to only occur on one side of the AMF since many of them do not have enough radius to still affect around the AMF.

A given Spread spell has to have a radius greater than 20 feet to be effective on the opposite side of the AMF. And, Emanation (and Burst) spells are always blocked on the other side of the AMF.

Anti Magic does not protect you against that big hulking 1/2Ogre with a Large Sized Great Axe who specializes in Sundering Mages.

Also, a summoned critter with spell resistence might not wink out in an anti-magic field (but can't be summoned inside); you first have to overcome the SR. Of course, with the CR of summoned critters usually being in the neighborhood of +/-2 of the level of the spell, you usually won't have to worry about it.

Here ... Catch!

That's debatable ... but it might be able to use projectile weapons on you.
