In a D&D context, when I say "Dragon" what color dragon pops into your head?

Surpirisingly, my first thought was 'blue', so that's how I voted.

My second thought was 'hang on, surely red is the iconic dragon', but I decided to go with my first thought (after all, the OP did ask for what 'popped into my head').

Red. Smaug was a red dragon (well gold & red) and that is the first dragon I think of.

I said red as well, but then I do find the general different colors of dragons kinda silly now that I think about, shouldn't dragons.. just be dragons?

First thought was green, followed by red.

I went with green; the first dragon I remember is George's...friend, and I always assumed he was green; so, iconic for me is green.

I think the iconic D&D dragon is red though.
