What d20 author do you buy sight-unseen?

(In no particular order, these are guys whose stuff I just plain buy- whatever it is!)
*Ari Marmell
*Steve Kenson
*Mike Mearls

(These are more guys whose stuff I strongly consider out of the box.)
*Monte Cook
*Sean K. Reynolds

Typically none, but there are some specific exceptions:

Bruce Cordell - but only if we're talking material involving psionics

Steve Schend - if we're talking material for the Forgotten Realms

Colin McComb - if it even vaguely involves anything on the planes

None. But if I ever did buy a book sight-unseen, it'd most likely be something written by Eric Boyd, Sean K Reynolds, Chris Pramas, Steve Kenson, or Robin Laws.

For me, it's more about the topic of a book rather than the author. For instance, I won't be buying Ptolus because the subject matter just doesn't grab me.

However, the author does play a significant role my decision to buy or not. Actually, so does the company name. Guys like Mike Meals and Bruce Cordell, and companies like Malhavoc, Paizo and Green Ronin have built up reputations for quality, such that I'll at least look at anything they put out.

Huh. I dont have one. Subjext matter is much more important to me than author. The best writer in teh world isnt going to make me want to buy a book about, say, halfling dinner habits, or whatever.

Now, there are definately authors that I prefer, but none thatll make me buy a book just cuz they wrote it! Bruce Cordell, SKR, Steven Schend are some names that seem to be attached to a lot of the books I end up liking a lot.
