i really want a good d20 mass combat system too, but i didn't mention it because it seems there are already a few companies working on this kind of project (or have already published them).

For a sword and sandals No, definitely No![*]d20 Swords and Sandals: I also recently picked up the Gladiator soundtrack! We've seen lots of rules for Bronze Age campaigns tossed around in various threads over the last few monthes or so, but as a coherent, organized project, this would be a fun one.
Yes[*]d20 Low Magic:
i believe there are mass combat rules in both Mongoose's Quintessential Fighter and AEG's War.EOL said:I've heard rumors of systems being worked on, but I wasn't aware of any which had already been published. Which ones are you referring to?

Low magic with a catch. Being like Enas Yorl are almost beyond epic power when magic is concerned. I think the magic would be mostly low, but you'd have to have the powerful stuff for certain NPCs.

just like that they are doing with the book of vile darkness they have their achdevil and archdukes of hell they can do a good book on powerfull angels that can match them and at LAST do the ARCHANGELS that will kick their ass!
becuse the solars are no match for all the uniqr demons and devil that are out today ( by green ronin armies of the abyss and the book of fiends and many more ) and they are no match for the archdukes and demon princes in the upcoming book of vile darkness so it will be very good if maybe wizards will create that book
