What do you do if a Raven follows you?

I just remember that I am playing in AD&D 2e, and that my 10th level ranger has got his first follower.

The only logical course of action is to slip in the word 'nevermore' in conversation with the creature. If it flips out and kills you, it's a very well-read ninja raven, and you should be honoured to be slain by such a worthy adversary.

*I had a crow sit on my shoulder in the real world a few weeks ago. The next time it did so I gave it part of a donut and it flew off. Somebody has been training that bird... and it now has me in memory as 'sucker'...
