Don't listen to those who say paladin spells aren't worth much.

By "nothing to write home about" I meant not fantastic, not worth nothing at all. Remember, if you have the spells on your spell list you can use wands even without a decent wisdom. Casting cure light wounds is nice, but even just being able to use a wand of cure light wounds is pretty good. Playing a cleric or sorceror without spellcasting would be self defeating. Playing a paladin without spellcasting would merely be inconvenient.
