Do you like action, comedy, comic action, active comedy, drama, dramedy, draction, draction dramedy?
I like all of the above, although I prefer action, draction, comic action, and drama the best.

Do you like Cowboy Bebop?
Never watched it, but I have heard good things about it.

Rainbow Brite?
When I was younger, I used to watch Rainbrow Brite... I wouldn't watch it now for any reason other than to deride it. I did, and would, watch Jem.

Heavy Metal?
A classic. I need to buy the DVD. I also need to see the sequel...

The Jackie Chan Adventures?
I don't watch this religiously, but I've generally found what little I have watched to be relatively well animated and mildly amusing.

Animaniacs?
Heck, yeah! Great stuff! When will this be released on DVD?!

Batman the Animated Series?
Own the first two DVD collections; can't wait for future releases. Also own the Superman collection.

Homestarrunner?
Is this the weird on-line cartoon or something altogether different?

Do you watch Cartoon Network, and if you do, what do you like on it?
Yes. I love Static Shock (I never watched it during its run on Saturday mornings) and I enjoy Teen Titans, although I admit that it wasn't what I was expecting. I will tape Justice League if I know I won't be home. Enjoyed Samauri Jack (when is this coming back?) and I think The Venture Brothers is one of the best cartoons out there.

Do you enjoy the total whackiness of things like Sealab and Aqua Teen?
While I find the humor of Sealab amusing, I never really cared for the rehash of the old cells, so I won't watch it. I would watch the Birdman spoof when it was on because the animation, although in the Hanna-Barbara style, was new. I detest Aqua Teen.

Do you prefer the anime?
My problem with anime has always been the nature of the storytelling. Too much meandering or too much melodrama or too much silliness. If there was more anime out there like Ninja Scroll, I'd be happy. Unfortanately, the more serious anime tends to have poor storylines or inconsistent animation.

Do you wish they had more action-based cartoons and fewer whacky ones?
By "they" I assume you mean anime? Yes, I would prefer more action-based cartoons with consistent stories that don't revolve around adolescents. Or deal with a cavalcade of earth-shatteringly powerful personalities on earth.

I have to give my marks to good ol' Rocky & Bullwinkle

Pixar has done great work with Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles.

I loved The Tick and had fun off and on with Dexter's Laboratory and Pink & The Brain. And then there is The Simpsons. Genius!

So for me it is not so much the quality of the animation, but the quality of the story and the voice acting. I'll take poor animation and a fun story (Rocky & Bullwinkle) over pretty graphics and a blah story (most Disney).
