What happened to www.systemreferencedocuments.org?

Hi all.

Sorry if this has been asked before, and sorry if it's the wrong forum. I am curious: I went to www.systemreferencedocuments.org, and got this message:

The domain "www.systemreferencedocuments.org" is not available.

Anyone know what happened? It was a useful little site for perusing DND topics while *cough* at work...: )

Not sure, but I just use srd.pbemnexus.com these days instead.

I generally find it annoying that every single spell, every single monster, is on a separate page. For the most part, I find the Sovelior/Sage layout far more useful.

If I'm searching for all references to 'ally' or 'chaotic', I'll use d20srd.org, because the results of the search are more useful to me. But if I'm just looking up the wording of a rule, I'll use Sovelior/Sage.

At a glance?

It would appear the site owner registered the domain through a registration firm that got it set up in the firm's name, rather than the site owner's... doesn't much matter so long as you stick with that registration firm, but when the site owner wanted to go elsewhere, he found out (the hard way) that, officially, the registration firm owned it. DomainsByProxy, from the looks of it.

That, or there were some legal challenges over trademark issues.

I agree about liking the Solevoir/Sage SRD. D20srd.org is pretty slick for it's search engine feature, but I'm still not always connected. The LAN at work or cable at home could go out at any moment, and how am I supposed to pass the time if I can't tinker with characters.
