What have you kept from 3.0 in your 3.5 games ?

I was too lazy to read the other replies, so apologies if this repeats things. For my group, the question isn't what did we keep from 3.0, it's what did we add from 3.5. Only about half of us bought the revision, and we were all pretty happy with 3.0 as it was. We added a few things (like some of the new spell durations) but we're playing a 3.0 game for the most part.

Most important thing I've kept is the 3.0 stats for demons & devils, with CRs revised (usually downwards) - eg CR 20 Pit Fiends are ok as 'advanced' pit fiends, minor dukes of Hell and such, but not as the default power level of the 'mook' pit fiend that number in the thousands, IMC these are around CR 13-14.
I tend to retain 3.0 base sizes also, though this varies by the miniature. :)

I like the .5/1/1.5 approach to PA mentioned here, I'll suggest it to my players. :)
If I recall correctly, Andy Collins mentioned when 3.5 came out that mathematically the 0.5 Str / 1.5 Str was the way to go for Power Attack, but that it was considered too fiddly for everyday use, hence the 0 / 2 multipliers. I have myself used this method for some time and find that it's not difficult to use.

It makes 2-h PA incredibly powerful, though. Hm, I might go with 0.5/1/2 - that doesn't take away from the melee brutes but does help the light weapon users. I'll see what the players think.

rules there is very little.

We have darkness be 3.0 and the 3.5 version be a separate spell called shadowy illumination.

I use almost all of my 3.0 stuff, modules, sourcebooks, campaign materials, etc. and just convert as needed for our 3.5 game, such as adding in monster feats to match the new easy feats/HD formulae.

Wow. When 3.5 came out, I felt like I was rather alone when it came to the square bases issue. Glad to see that I am not the only one.

Facing. My players LOVE being able to get BEHIND someone, and they're willing to be taking from behind themselves on occassion if that's what it takes for them to be able to do it to the enemy.

There were no facing rules in 3.0, either.

Savage Species (subject to my approval)

That one's pretty easy, and SS was 90% 3.5 compliant as written.
