What, If Anything, Might be Wrong with the Warblade?

Has anybody tried the warblade as is and found them overpowered enough to change them?

Also, in the games where martial adepts are being used, are the others (especially fighters, with their wealth of feats) taking advantage of Martial Study and Martial Stance?

In the party I DM, we've got a WB/Mnk, who just got Insightful Strike. He's maxed out his Con and Concentration check, so he's doing 1d20+21 hp of damage per round at level 6.

That is a tough number to reach!

And that is only +20! What did I miss?

Don't get me wrong, I think the B09S is a great idea, and is definately a direction the game should take because the classes are more fun. But if you have people who are in the old classes, I think it will be unfair to them.

I think the Insightful Strike classe ability of the Swordsage, to add your Wis modifier to strikes' damage.

I believe insightful strike (the class ability) doesn't work with insightful strike (the maneuver). The maneuver specifically says that you calculate your damage as a straight Concentration check; all your usual mods to damage are ignored.

Warblades get d10 HD, and no weapon aptitude.
Fighters get 1 bonus fighter feat at every level.

We have both a WB (Mnk 2/ WB 4) and a Ftr 6 in the party. So far, both are having great fun.

Eh. IIRC you instituted that change to the warblade immediately on reading the book, without seeing it in play.
