What is a Good staff for a LEvel 12 Wizard?

OK, he's not really a Wizard, he's a Black Mage, but the same theories still apply. HE's going to get a Staff from his Order at LEvel 12(still a few levels away), and I wanted to offer him a good choice of staffs(I'm the DM). What are some good one's to offer him a choice of?(after this he's on his own, and since he picks up a lot of Item Creation feats, I'm expecting him to just craft his own after this one goes.)

What is a Good staff for a LEvel 12 Wizard?

Hmm. At least one valet, two secretaries to work in shifts, half a dozen messengers and errand-boys, and at least one janitor to clean up the spell components.

Okay, seriously. Tell us a bit about this character. What's his personality like? What sorts of spells does he seem to favor? What does he use a lot? What does he avoid using? Is there anything he seems to like to use but rarely has the opportunity? What are his goals?

How about a 'staff of cancellation', similiar to the rod of the same name? Works once per day on whatever you would like so no charges to be used up, something that players just love to kill for.

12th level he should have access to 6th level spell.

Me'd I'd I'd make it the staff of electric DOOM. Chain lightning and a maximized lightning bolt. Though attack staffs suck becuase of the DC issue.

A good staff if there is such a thing would likely be enervation and evards black tentacles. Well basically the enrvation and whatever else you want o put in it to make it a staff.

WEll, he's not specialized, but he rarely uses Necromancy, preferring to drop Evocations, a lot of Electricity(he's given everyone in the party Rings of Electricity Resistance, Major). Also, he likes Conjuration spells, I'm developing two of them with him, Fierce Knight and Knights of the Round(EPIC), most of his spells have that "Noble Wizard" quality to them. He's also been deemed an "Elf Friend" and a "Stone Brother"(Same as Elf Friend but with the Dwarves), dunno if that helps.

Well of course I do, it's just that I assumed that there had to be some "official" words to it floating around out there somewhere.
