D&D 5E (2014) What is on the horizon for Official D&D 5E?

Howdy-

I really tried to see what WoTC had for future additions to 5E but I just could not grok their website.
So what is on the horizon for D&D 5E? Anything that might be a must have?

You didn't miss anything on the website, nothing has been officially announced yet.

They've hinted that there will be another adventure path released at the end of summer, subject unknown, and a "major mechanical expansion" in november. That one is probably going to be a must have if you want more character options.

Their most recent adventure came out less than two weeks ago, so right now that's in the spotlight. Tales from the Yawning Portal.
In a month or two they'll likely release details of the next adventure, due in August. They tend to announce those 2-4 months in advance. Some time in May most likely. It's the summer storyline, so it will receive support from WizKids for minis and the Neverwinter video game.

There's likely a November book coming out as well. They could announce that at the same time. Or save that reveal for the summer.

All we know is two books, codenamed "Dust" and "Midway" are coming out later this year, and four accessories (one of which we now know to be a book of character sheets).

Speculation is that "Dust" is an adventure set in Chult (jungle, island, etc) and "Midway" is the big mechanical expansion that is currently being playtested in Unearthed Arcana articles.
