I--like so many--voted 25. My preference is 28, however, since that's closest to the actual average of 4d6-lowest, as proven by some math-whiz here on the boards. After all, with 28, you can get the 'standard' 16,14,14,12,10,8 (or 15,15,14,12,12,8) array that seems to work for all but the most MAD (multiple-ability-dependent) character builds, especially considering the magic you can get access to, and the +1 every 4 levels. Sure, monks suffer a little bit, as do rangers who don't want to be wilderogues, but that's the price you pay.
