What is the most damage that a character could do in 1 hit against an AC 80+?

I want to know something. Why no offensive spells? What Wizard in the right mind(or even the wrong mind) would agree not to use offensive spells? Or are you just trying to make it so that your little Power Munckin Character can not be hit?

sorry, no psionics...so your plan will not work out as great...

My mistake.

Try this one instead: The Vorpal Garotter!

Wiz1/Ftr17/Brb1/FrenzyBrb1

As before (Haste/True Strike etc.)
So to hit=
+20 True Strike
+19 BAB
+18 Str (20base+5wish+5advance+6belt+6frenz+4rage=46)
+5 Garotte
+1 Weapon Focus
=only +63

However, AC man is denied Dex bonus (flat-footed) and it's a touch attack. So assuming he hits...
Use Power Critical, and off goes the head!

He's denied Dex bonus because he's flatfooted.
Or failing that (or if he's a barbarian or rogue) take Quicker than the Eye and max out bluff.

The key to beating AC man is denying him his dex bonus to ac by making him SOMEHOW flat footed.

The other key - is stopping that absolute whoring from the super incantrix PrC - or using the super incantrix against him in some combat oriented fashion as a countermeasure

Do those two things - and the whole shebang falls apart.

The bonus from Tensor's transformation is an unnamed bonus to your BAB. Therefore, they do stack.

Magus

Check out warrior wizard from hell. - on first page

The fact that there are no offensive spells just makes this challenge interesting.

Seriously, hitting anything but a dragon that has an AC over 200 really is not that difficult because the only way to get the AC that high is with insanely high AS and with dex/dodge bonuses.

The insanely high AS can be met and the dex/dodge bonuses can be denied - even to uncanny dodge people.

I don't think so. It's a named bonus to your attack. It's name is "Base". They won't stack. BAB's only stack if they are from different classes. (PHB, page 22.)

Haste, Hold Monsters (with Spell Foci and archmage spell power if applicable), Coup de Grace.

There are alot of ways to hit someone without "hitting" them.
Any Will save spell works pretty well, or anything that prevents movement or what have you.

Another combo- Mords Disjunction followed by a high DC "insta kill" (whether Will or Fort save).

Just don't try to hit him with an attack roll.

I really wish they would have italisized named bonuses. I bet the vast majority of casual players have no idea what a named bonus is.

um...

"Combining Magical Effects"

"Same Effect More than Once of Different Strength"

"In cases when two or more identical spells are operating in the same area, but at different strengths, only the best one applies."

PHB pg. 153
