What is the original source for this awesome Lockwood painting?

I saw this picture over at Gamespy during their 30th Anniversary special for D&D. Due to the large size of the picture, I'll be posting a link to it rather than the actual image:

D&D 30th Anniversary commissioned artwork "Bar Fight"

I knew that it was a Lockwood piece right away because of the style, and I instantly fell in love with it (I'm currently using it as my desktop wallpaper). Does anybody know what book/magazine/whatever this painting originally came from?

They are using it in advertisements. I have seen the image in both Dungeon Magazine and Dragon Magazine. As far as I know, that is it. It is just promoting the 30th anniversary.

Great piece. I think they might have commissioned it just for this ad campaign.

Ya gotta love the thief stealing the demon's jeweled eye. I can't think of another image in this hobby that has reached the icon status of that demon statue. With one or two thieves in place, it's got to be the most mimicked, spoofed and otherwise recreated image in all of role-playing!

Personally, I like the ale-drinking beholder next to the mind flayer that's snacking on a brain. I also like the gnome with the chaingun crossbow, the githyanki, and the halfling (or is it a gnome?) in the back draping his arm over a red dragon's snout.

Seriously neat image. I'm envious of his talent, and it *really* pulls off that "something happening in every inch" feel without looking cluttered. Very cool. It is my new desktop wallpaper here at work. :)

I like the backdrop - a throwback to the old DMG...

The dwarf sundering the shield is also wicked cool...

This is one of the greatest images EVER! Truly a fitting homage to 30 years of D&D!

My guess is that's a gnome bard next to the red dragon.

And that hobgoblin (with the bluish nose) is wickedly cool!
