What is the point of the "Pain Touch" feat?

Greetings all,

One of my players brought up a really interesting question last night, it was; "What is the point of using the feat Pain Touch (S&F pg 8) on someone, when if you are the victim of a successful stun attack you can't take any actions anyway for 1 round.

I am at a loss, someone please enlighten me

With pain touch, they suffer for 2 rounds. Stunned the first, pained the second.

Thanks for the reply Xahn'Tyr, but is there an official ruling concerning this? or is it witten somewhere else in the books that I have not seen yet?

I ask because that is what I am going to be asked

I think it says in the feat (at least, in one version of it), that they are nauseated for one _additional_ round. This means "in addition to the round in which they are stunned." ...So yeah, that's why
