Oh, by the RAW, slaying weapons only apply to race, not to class. So a rules lawyer slaying sword cannot be done by the rules.

I came across it on Monte Cook's boards long before it was common here.

And I believe I remember it used on WotC's forums (or their news groups?) even before that.

EDIT: Going back in Google's News Group searches, I find references to the term RAW (rules as written) in rec.radio.cb groups FAQs as early as January 2000, in rec.games.miniatures.warhammer as early as February 1998, rec.games.miniatures.historical as realy as July of 1996, and -- GET THIS -- as early as January 1994 by a guy named Dan Reynolds. So the term is AT LEAST 11 to 12 years old.
