Well, I for one have a new winnah....
Final Fantasy II (the Japanese release, part of Final Fantasy Origins).
It's not a problem with graphics or sound - I understand this is an old game...
The reason I'm calling it the worst evar is how it begins. I've been playing it for six hours (according to the game clock) and I'm still unable to leave the presence of the first two towns. Either I need to fight goblins and stranglers for paltry xp and gold awards, or get creamed by monsters that deal 3x my hit point total in damage on each attack.
I don't feel like sitting around and playing with goblins for the next 2 days to make any headway.
Because of the presence of what is arguably the worst ramp up in monster power I've ever seen (I've tried and failed to find foes that are about equal to my characters to fight) I award Final Fantasy II my golden turkey. This game SUCKS.
Oh well, the disk isn't a total loss - Final Fantasy I is still on it.
