I report crimes.

I enjoy jury duty.

I notify the salesperson when I'm undercharged.

I hold doors for little old ladies.

I'm Lawful Good, no matter how much I might enjoy pretending to be otherwise.

Ditto with small changes:

Add 8 years of military service... (doesn't get much lawful than that.)

Remove jury duty, though I imagine I would enjoy it… (I’ve been exempted pretty much my whole life based upon age or the 8 years of military service.)

And I hold doors upon for ladies of all ages. :)

Didn't enjoy jury duty, but the rest makes me pretty much LG. However I reserve the right to display chaotic tendencies whenever it would expedite matters, or if the straight and narrow can't get it done.

I am lawful evil, I have no problem doing the things that would upset people, that good people do not think about, just to make sure their way of life in the USA is maintained.

Neutral Good

As much as I may hold to the Chaotic rhetoric, and often challenge rules for the sake of the challenge, I do believe in certain principles and tend to follow the rules of courtesy (like holding the door open for little old ladies, etc.) so I am probablly in the middle of the Chaotic-Lawful spectrum, as far as DnD goes.

Good, however, isn't a question. Exactlly what "good" means sometimes might be another matter, but fortunaltely the allignment system isn't set up for the moral ambiguities and debates of an ethics teacher.

That is a tough call for me since I seem to shift a lot depending upon my mood. Overall I guess I'm Chaotic Good since I strongly believe people should be free to do what they want as long as it does not lead to harm or trouble for others. I prefer that I do things to make life better for others and would like it if everyone did so, but I would not force it upon them. Must be a product of my New Hampshire upbringing, "Live Free or Die."

Depends on your definitions of alignments, or alignment-borders to be more accurate.

I see myself as Neutral, but you have to go pretty far out (IMO) to qualify as other. I don't tirelessly crusade to save the downtrodden, nor torture for pleasure. I neither compulsively whip those around me to work for the common good, nor am I a bomb-throwing firebrand. That all makes me feel rather centric.

If you're talking about a 2e-ish view where TN is obsessively wishy-washy, Neutral (Law/Chaos/Good/Evil) is the epitome of said nonneutral alignment segment, and any deviation from the neutral knife-edge makes one aligned, I'd have to say LG, though.
