In that case, I'll go with the closest analogue, the Iron Lich from Monsternomicon. With a Vice-President Template.

Trolls (Rend Rocks) and Wights ( In low lvl groups the fear of being lvl drained is bigger than dying. My players scream in fear everytime they meet a wight and he who is playing the meatshield turns pale, sighs and starts slowly to cry...)

Illithids- My favorite NPC ever was an illithid cowboy with a crystal pistol from D20 Modern.

Kobolds- I like the idea of things that couldn't harm a fly but would reallyreallyreally like to.

Outsiders- Just in general I like the idea of alien beings with incredible powers and zealous attitudes.

Beholders- "What the heck? It's just a bunch of eyeballs and some teeth. Let's shoot i-" "Oh my god he disintegrated kenny!" "That !!!!"

Major claw attacks, level draining bites, psionics, 13+ INT, CE and favorite food- sentinent race babies. Now there is a creature to fear but still want to destroy.
