I see this a lot; people who liked the old Planescape like Oathbound.
Planescape is the best campaign setting to have ever been. That's not opinion. That's fact.

So, can somebody tell me more about Oathbound? Would you post a link to the publisher? How are the two settings alike? I realize that not everyone may be aware that PS is the greatest setting of all time - that's fine. I am aware, though, so if Oathbound appeals to the same folks who like PS, it's worth investigating.

Check bastion press. They're the company that originally published the series. Haven't read it yet, but the concensus seems to be that the artwork killed sales...

Here's a link though.

Planescape and Spelljammer are the all-time champions as far as I'm concerned.

Dark Sun is kinda cool, but I never got into it in Second Edition primarily because it just didn't have the mechanics to back it up. I mean, how much did Second Edition psionics suck?

Thank you for the link, ST. The setting looks interesting but the site is hopelessly inconvienient to navigate. I'll have to look through the d20 system guide for a review. From what little I could glean from the Bastion Press site, I can see why Oathbound might share a fanbase with Planescape - it looks to reley heavily on the conflict between factions.

Why not try the OB site: http://www.oathbound.net

The conflict differs between the 7 domains. Arena is about battle on a large scale, Penance is more political (with lots of combat though due to a massive dungeon), Wildwood is more about becoming predator or prey, Anvil is about wind wizards and giant monsters, Eclipse is about thieves and undead, and the other 2 need some better explaining via their own books.
