For news purposes, I get some information directly from authors/publishers - mostly via Twitter, and Kickstarter/BackerKit as well as DTRPG mailings; to a lesser extent, some info also comes from Facebook, a handful of Discord servers and a small number of newsletters (mostly The Glatisant/Questing Beast newsletter). And ENWorld is basically the catchall site to make sure I don't miss anything from the aforementioned sources.
I'm not really active in many RPG discussions these days - probably a bit more on a German forum and the associated Discord server than I am here (I'm also not that interested in 5e, which rules out many threads on ENWorld).
