Well, I don't know about "fairness", but to at least make it more interesting?sounds more like an arbitrarily imposed limitation to try to bring fairness.
imo. If something can be precast the day before - Especially the wish version then It’s baffles me why doing so would be arbitrarily punished.

I agree. I mean what wizard or sorcerer who could have a simulacrum via the spell or wish, wouldn't have one??? But it does make it a 2-1 fight basically, I don't think any class could stand up to that other than possibly another wizard/ sorcerer. Of course, a Dispel Magic would stop it LOL.
