What monsters should be in a sequel to Tome of Horrors?

Yeah- UK, a list of monsters by Type. I wish I'd done that for the Tome.

Monsters by location...you mean Terrain Type? Like the old MM2 1e for example? That would be most handy as well. Might have to remember that one.

Yes, monsters by Climate/Terrain (be sure to list their CR therein too).

While we are on the subject of tables how about some Summon Monster Tables taking account of the new creatures?

Alternatively, this should also get a print version soon, if not already. They are always good (any), have between 2 and 16 HD depending on the category (max advancement range for the greater, 24 HD), hp goes from 15 to 146), CR goes from 1/2 to 10.

Just like in the Creature Collection 2: Creatures by climate terrain and CR from ToH1, ToH2 and MM (if you could get a special approval from WotC to references MM2 and other, that would be soooooo extra-nice).

With an updated Summon Monster table, too (again, like CC2 did).

And the obligatory listing of creature from the book by type and subtype (like all WotC books do).

i had done a "by-type" list after the fact - it's on the message boards somewhere.

also, before the ToH came out, i had made a monsters by terrain type list for the critters in the CC, but i haven't updated it in a good long time.

Also remember of course that it won't be long now before the Epic and Deity Rules enter the SRD, so a half-dozen epic monsters and a god or two wouldn't go amiss either.

i'd still say, if it were going to be smaller than the original, that it sould be "Little Tome of Horrors".

it would, of course, have a Huge venus flytrap on the cover.
