What monsters would you reall like to play?

I've been thinking recently that a fensir (fiend folio) would be fun. They're extraplanar giants from Ysgard with a knack for wizardry, and seem to be very much based off of actual folkloric trolls. The tricky part would be explaining an antisocial CN creature joining an adventuring group, but I'm sure I could manage.

Other than that... those LeShay are pretty neat, perhaps a bit underpowered, but worth it for the background :p

I wanna play a fricken' Gnoll. I don't know why, but I've always liked gnolls, moreso than goblinoids and orcoids.

I'd play a Kenku in a heartbeat.

An ogre mage could be fun too.

I would say no to ogre mage. They're weak, and (IMO) have little flavor to recommend them. Kenku is a great choice, IMO, provided you don't think you have to steal from party members.

That's because Gnolls are cooler than Goblinoids and Orcoids. Orcoids? Anyway, Gnolls are cooler. Although we just killed a couple of Gnolls in our game today. Poor things.

I'd like to play a Doppleganger, Greater. Ability to change into others and steal abilities? Nothing beats that. ;)

Paraelemental Psudonatural Paragon Phasm.

I'd be uber! They don't list the LA, though, for some reason. :(

But, barring that, I've always thought an Azer would be fun, but the LA is so high so I've never done that. A choker would be pretty sweet, but it has no LA listed.

We did have a Savage Species game going on and I was a Pixie which was lots of fun. Another player was a succubus that also proved to be very interesting. I htink a feind, devil, or something else with lots of neat special abilities. You typical skills such as straight fighting or spell casting suffer, but as we found out, when given new sets of abilites, new methods of play come out of it. Djinni or Raksasha would be interesting.
