What musical instruments do you play/own?

Guitar:
-Takamine 12 String acoustic
-Takmine 6 string acoustinc w/ cut-away and built-in electronics
-Fender Roadhouse Strat (black w/ tortoise shell pickguard, white pickups)
-B.C. Rich ST (late 80's metal guitar: DiMarzzio Super Distortion humbucker, two single coils and a Floyd Rose Trem)
-Fender Nashville Tele with the Fishman bridge pickup and a Parson's B-Bender
-early 80's Gibson Explorer which I stripped, gave an oil finish to, and put in EMG pickups.

and a Fender Standard Jazz Bass

I play mostly Rock, some (very little) Country, Blues, and wee bit of metal.

Edit: my closest brush with fame was when I helped a buddy run monitors for Blind Melon when they played at Nick's here in West Lafayette. All of the guys in the band were great guys, except for one. I also "met" Axl Rose that night. Well, OK, he told me to "F" off when I asked him to close the door that spilling light all over the stage. But he closed the door at least...;)

Sheet music?!?!? I'm a guitar player, what the heck is sheet music??

:D

I'm trained classically, sheet music is my life :D

I need to improve my ear though, of course anyone that can play the guitar just has to play the rift from the latest rock hit and everyone of the opposite gender falls over themselves to listen.
(Sigh) :D

Jeeze, what are there like 5 guys on this board who live here?

I own an Alesis QuadraSynth keyboard, a Samick acoustic guitar, a few harmonicas (Marine Band), A Peavey Precision Bass, and I sometimes compose with Cubase on my PC. I play bass in a band called Planet Ten. I work in a music store (musical instruments) called Steve's Music Store.

Music is my life. And D&D :-)

This one sounds sweet. Did you put the Zakk Wilde combo (emg 81-85) or something else ?

I've been playing guitar for 20 years - I heard Alex Lifeson on Rush's Moving Pictures album in 1981 and that was it for me

Anyway, I own a:

-Custom Fender Stratocaster. I replaced the pickups with DiMarzios, and was thinking about adding a Floyd Rose, but I didn't want to cut into the body to install it.
-Paul Reed Smith Custom 22
-Gibson Les Paul Standard
-Yamaha Classical (nylon string) Acoustic
-cheap Les Paul knock off (I think its a Memphis...)
-Yamaha Alto Saxophone - took sax in college and I still fiddle around with it.
-hand-built violin made for me by my great-uncle (he was a violin-maker)
