what non-RPG/non-video games do you play?

Anyone into games other than RPG or video games? I'm a big fan of Scrabble (and speed Scrabble!!), Heroquest (D&D Lite), Settlers of Catan (don't get to play as often as I like), and the Steve Jackson card games (Chez Geek, Munchkin). I'm also really into cards, especially poker.

Anyone else?

Chess, checkers/draughts, pinocle, bridge, casino, hearts, poker, yahtzee....

that's what you do when you are stationed overseas. you play games. all kinds of games...

Still get in some Car Wars and Battletech when I can, a bit of Supremacy, Belter and a few other old GDW games, Lunch Money, Ogre, Ambush, and the staples: Monopoly, Risk, Stop Thief, etc.

I love Cosmic Encounters ! :D

Other than that I will play anything that has some resemblence to a strategy game Axis and Allies, World at War, Civilization, Risk, you name it.

er, GlassJaw, how is HeroQuest (the GW/MB games one i'm assuming*) not an RPG?

Settlers of Catan is cool, especially with the Cities expansion, Twilight Imperium is very good (except a) my copy died and b) nobody would play it with me as they all said it took too long to set up) as is J.U.M.P Into The Unknown (yes i have a thing for strategy games.. ever since i lost my Master of Orion II CD)

i do occassionally play Zombies!!! but its a tad boring
