So there are less than 2 months left until the 4e PHB2, though several of the new classes have been previewed or scooped.

Which classes/races from that book are you most looking forward to trying out?

You can choose as many as interest you (be they for fluff, crunch, or just personal favorite reasons - whatever)

Hopefully I didn't forget something :)

I'd add to the options additional feats as well as backgrounds. I am very curious about PHBII feats since PHB1 feats for implement users were badly lacking.

I've HEARD of Wardens, but I don't know exactly what they are. My first guess would be Martial Controller? Idunno. Bards are fun too. But I want to see a few things that up the wizards controllerish-ness.

Warden is a Primal Defender.

Even though I am overall excited for all of PHB2 I voted for Warden, Shaman and Druid since these classes in-particular have really peaked both my mechanical and fluff aspects quite nicely. The use of spirits has been a very welcomed addition.

Wardens are Primal Defenders. They partially shapeshift with their dailies to buff themselves, and they can slide and slow distant marked enemies and attack adjacent ones. They get tons of HP, even moreso than other defenders, and can mark everyone around them as a free action. They sound like fun, I'm excited to see them in play.

Unfortunately, the Wizard isn't getting options intended for them in PHBII, but probably some feats and items will be useful for them.

I'm looking forward to the full druid! I love the way they're designed here, and can't wait to play one!

I'm much more excited for classes than races. I'm a little worried that, if we get too many races in 4e, things will get kind of silly. I'm currently in a game where the party is seriously two dragonborns, two tieflings, and a longtooth shifter. I miss my elves, humans and dwarves, dang it! (Gnomes'll be cool, though).

What I'm most interested in are the new arcane classes and the controllers. Let's face it; right now we have only one controller, and it doesn't even control all that well. Also, while I recognize it's basically just flavor at this point, 'Arcane' has always been my favorite power source. Right now, though, I have only two to choose from. What if those two roles are filled? Then I'll have to be some boring Martial slugger or some goody two-shoes church-goer.

So, yeah. Looking forward to new controllers and arcanes.
