What race can you not bring yourself to play?

I've happily played most of the PHB races but I can't get my head round gnomes. They just seem pointless. And I prefer my frivolity catgirl shaped.

Gnomes are small, crafty, and they steal your underwear late at night (socks too, I assume). They are crafty and can ocassionally do it even while you're wearing them. They have a three pronged attack plan to steal everyone's underpants:

1) steal underwear

3) profit.

I would normally say 1/2 elves but one of my most successful PCs was a 1/2 elf cleric / ranger.

Because I don't have the personality to support it- Kenders.

I've played all the core races in the past, but my least favourites are gnomes and half-orcs. I tend to prefer humans, dwarves and elves.

Half-Orcs can be fun, especially if you play them like Klingons (not the Worf kind, the seriously Mongols-in-Space kind).

That's how I made orcs in my world -- they have klingon names, and the famous orc double-axe is modeled on that funny-looking curved klingon weapon.

I'm pretty sure klingons were a rip-off of orcs, but klingons evolved a bit.
