what should the spell focus attribute requirement be?

I submit that Spell Focus - a wizard-specific feat - should not be based off an attribute entirely outside the wizard class. I think it would be far more appropriate to base it off one of the wizard "implement stats" - this would make it something that not every wizard would take, but still fall within the realm of what it means to be a wizard. It could also be an incentive to follow a certain attribute, like Arcane Reach does for Dex.

So which is best? Vote and explain!

You forgot an "I don't think it should be changed / other" option.
As I said in the other thread, Charisma is fine and Wis or Int are not.

If you truly want to change it, take whatever you feel is appropriate, or roll 1d6 and take the stat (from top to bottom) whose number comes up.

Spell Focus is WAY WAY WAY too good a feat to simply be a gimmy for most wizards. They need to earn it!! And charisma is as good a way as any.

It works pretty well as Cha 13 - it requires investment but not so much that you cannot pursue other options - don't forget your free stat bump on 11th!
