What Show Should Have Only Had One Season?

I know this might not be a popular opinion, but the Battlestar Galactica reboot. Season one is one of the single best seasons of Scifi ever. Every season after that just got messier and more convoluted.

That one's generally regarded as the best one. After that the Lumen season and 1&2 in no particular order. IMHO.

My cats came is Dexter. Adopted 14 years ago lol. Named after Mr Morgan.
As another Dexter-head I would 100% agree with this - S4 is absolute peak Dexter, and S1, S2, and S5 are very good. After that the show becomes at lot less compelling (S3 is also only "good" imho). It's still watchable for the most part.

I don't know if you watched it at the time, but the cultural stance S2 took, and its timing, was, frankly, incredibly brave in a way TV series generally aren't today.

So I feel like S2 was, in context, more important, bolder, and ballsier than S1 by some margin.

Rings of Power and Wheel of Time. Frankly, they shouldn't have had even the first season. But after the first season, they certainly shouldn't have had another.
