A political intrigue -heavy miniseries showing how Palpatine's minions / cohorts were pouring sand and monkey wrenches in the Republic's machinery of government, so the Senate could never reach nor implement a decision when it mattered. Of course a Jedi troubleshooter is assigned to short-circuit the problem du jour ... but the broken bureaucracy is still there like quicksand sucking down the Jedi's time effort and attention.

Generally inspired by the generation of Roman politicians just before Julius Caesar, in the same way that Game of Thrones used events from English history.

1.) Program that is basically just sets of loredumps delivered through the framing device of jedi and sith holocrons amd lectures at the republic era jedi academy

2.) Bin all of the Disney stuff and make the most popular of the old expanded universe novels into films

Having re-introduced him into the new canon in Star Wars: Rebels, here is hoping they follow up with him in the Ahsoka show they are developing.

Since she already name-dropped him, that certainly seems likely. If so, it'll be interesting to see who they cast.
