What the Heck is Up with Search?

If I put in a 4 letter word (no, not that four-letter word you dweebs! ) it says I do not meet the four-letter word minimum for a search - and if I put two words where the first is four letters longs (as in "Iron DM") it comes back with the same message.

What is the deal?

This is not the first time this has happened to me. . . Is there some glitch to searching I am unaware of. . . ?

I just did a search for Iron and came up with 99 pages of threads. Maybe it was just a wierd thing, have you tried it lately?

Yeah, but if I want to narrow it down it won't accept "Iron DM" as a search parameter.

Right, because DM is to small a word.

Yeah, but if I put them BOTH in there with quotes shouldn't it look for instances of those words together? If not, well then the search here sucks. . .

Well, then maybe it does. It seems to ignore all words of certain length or smaller, no exception.

I had the same problem when trying to search for "Icy White".
It seems that the search engine doesn't understand the "" meaning, it separates it in two words.

Hey nemmerle, check the first post in the holiday home game. It links the last two IronDMs you ran and the October IronDM that incognito ran.

Also, you can restrict the search to thread titles (as opposed to all text in the posts) and you will get a higher ratio of Iron DM to Studies In Medieval Smithing.
