What was the first monster you killed in D&D?

first thing i killed was 2 orcs on one roll. a critical hit after a critical fumble.
it was in a game at a meetup, and i was playing this wizard i think? (i really don't remember) using a crossbow or a short bow (i'm telling you silly details i can't remember) i rolled a 2 then a 1 (*THIS i remember lol) was told that in taking aim i slipped on a rock went flying and almost shot myself (but since i was a beginner i took no damage, although i KNOW my DM now adays would make me take damage for something like that). so next round i take aim again, this time roll a 19 and 17! critically confirmed, my arrow sent straight through one orc, and into another knocking him into the fire killing them both.
lots of fun and once i finally got to play for real i was quite contented. so i have a secret nickname for me... i call myself the fumbling critical now adays


oh and i just remembered the character's name, it was Catalinia!

Uhm, I'm afraid my first kill was a PC. It wasn't a good campaign anyway. The dude was lording over and threatening everyone since he had a very high level character. But I had been DMing exclusively for 5 years, so I knew a thing or two about How To Kill PCs.

Large Spider in a bedroom (I believe) in Module U1 - The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh. Playing Sandwell the Ranger (a borrowed character from my DM's brother).

It was a Carrion Crawler. It was hiding in the shadows above the entrance to the dungeon. We thought we saw something up there so I poked it with the 10' pole we had. It jumps down and the fight began. My friend got paralyzed but I managed to kill it. I was playing a human fighter named Sinbad!

oh i've killed PCs. they were after my ally and i just went wild lol (1 pc with my glaive in ki frenzy, another's familiar using finger of death, and critically wounding another so that another PC could teleport him to his waiting dragon familiar, who had a good but gassy and bad smelling lunch)

The friend that introduced me to D&D ran me thru his homebrew adventure. I played a human fighter equipped with a long sword. I think the first two monsters I killed were a skeleton and a spider, but I can't remember which was first.

If I recall correctly the first monster I killed was a Kobold. A whole room full of the little buggers to be exact.

My first kill was a giant centipede. I kicked the centipede and it froze to death since my character's feet were extremely frigid.
