What was the "golden age" of Dragon

What was the GOLDEN AGE of Dragon magazine

I suspect the real answer is "when I started buying them". For me T Foster's 50-100 and/or Eric's Mohan divisions work for me. I can't vote in the poll since 1-79/80+ splits those runs. (And issue 63 was my first.)

I have to toss in my two cents' worth as well, and agree with the above. The closest is the second category, but really, 60 to about 120, 130 is where I sit. Roger E. Moore/Mohan (earlier especially).

Take care
Don

Considering the first Dragon magazine I bought was #294, I think my choice is obvious.

If using Erik Mona's categories, I'd have to go with Paizo.

Overlapping your options 1 and 2 -- roughly 30-120 (Oct 1979 - April 1987), with the highest peak c. 50-100 (July 1981 - Aug 1985).

Completely agree. Thinking around 60-90 myself. I voted the first category because there's also a bunch of awesome stuff around the 30's that I loved.
