In the other thread, I was criticized for asking other people for descriptions so that people on the board can judge their stats yet not posting my own description. To avoid the same criticism here and inspire confidence in the thread I will not make the same mistake and post my own description.
I am about 178-179 cm tall (about 5'9") and weight approximately 75-80 kilograms (it varies but stays in this range). I am lean but definitely not skinny. I eat a lot, but my weight seems unaffected despite my current lack of sporting activities. I suppose standing 8-10 hours (depending on whether I have lectures that day or not) a day every day including weekends in my job might have something to do with it...
I perceive myself as very clumsy and others around me see me in the same way. In fact, I am the clumsiest person I know and have ever known to the best of my recollection. My handwriting is quite difficult to read and I write very slowly and make many mistakes that I then need to cross out and correct. I type much faster, but most likely still too slowly in comparison to how fast I should be typing considering how long I have been using a computer for word processing. I was never good at any sports requiring hand-eye coordination and quick reactions. I can also say that I also loose against any of my friends when playing any computer game that requires quick reactions.
Just to give you an idea, here is an anecdotal story that I already posted in another thread and now copied here. Two days ago while working my 10 hour shift at a fast food outlet to pay for my tuition fees, I managed to: throw the $2,500 credit/debit card machine on the ground and broke it (luckily it was easily fixable...), spill food on the floor from a container while carrying it, make several mistakes with the cash machine (at least 3 - I do not remember precisely), spill food multiple times while serving customers, make some of our pop drinks fall from their stack twice and probably made several more minor mistakes that I no longer pay any attention to. I did this despite having worked at the place for many months already (I am guessing they have not fired me yet because I am generally a likable person and polite to the customers...) and despite working more slowly than any other person who works there. I should mention that although that day was particularly bad, other days I am not well coordinated either.
Nonetheless, despite the clumsiness my ligament/tendon/muscular flexibility is probably somewhat above average. I can do splits, or can touch the ground with the palms of my hands and go down a further 10-15cm (4-6 inches) while standing without bending my legs. My bones and joints, however, are quite large and thick. My accuracy/aim is definitely above average - I am definitely a good shot with a rifle or a pistol - mainly because I can easily hold steady.
I can do about 40 push-ups (nose touching the ground to when arms bent), but that is the absolute limit - beyond that no amount of willpower enables me to push myself up again. Once upon a time I used to do swimming and cross-country running and was pretty good at it too (was one of the best on the school team in swimming and in the top 5% of my school in running), but that time is long past (4 years ago now). Nowadays, I do not participate in any sports whatsoever with the exception of the occasional hike in the mountains, some skiing and some cycling, but these are all infrequent and irregular. I recently ran a mile (1.609 kilometers) and my time was 5 minutes and 6 seconds - I have no clue whether that is below or above average. The maximum that I have gone without nourishment (though I still drank water) was three days (it was not by choice - more like that after paying my tuition I was incredibly short of money until my next paycheck, so I had to eat once every several days for a few weeks). The maximum that I have gone without sleep was two consecutive nights (three nights if brief naps/blackouts do not count as sleep). I have not been ill (I am also counting minor illnesses such as a cold or a flu) for about 2 years now and going about 5 years back I have only had minor illnesses. When I was a kid, though, I used to be ill very often with tensilitis (I think that is the name of the disease in English). I have had chickenpox when I was 3. Apart from that I never had any major illness. I do not have any allergies that I am aware off.
Hmm, onto mental abilities or lack thereof. I have never taken an IQ test, so that is not helpful here. The only standardized test I have taken was the SAT in which I got 1510 (780 on Math and 730 on Verbal) with no prior studying and preparation, because at the time no materials for that were available in my country. I am good at recognising patterns whether they are numerical, or spatial or social. As far as languages go, I speak Slovak, Czech, English and with a much lower level of proficiency also German, Polish and Russian. As to my memory, I have a very good memory for associations, but a poor memory for names. My grades have always been good (the maximum - grading systems differ in different countries I have lived in) and I have always been a good student. Both of my universities gave me scholarships, though I still have financial problems, since considering the low wages in my country, these scholarships are unfortunately insufficient enable me to finish university in the West without also simultaneously working fulltime. I enjoy reading about, learning about and discussing the natural sciences, politics, economics, sociology, history and just about all other areas of human inquiry. I am good both at mathematics and writing, but I do not find mathematics too interesting unless it is applied to a specific problem I want to solve and in any case I am better at writing than at mathematics (please do not judge me on the basis of my writing in this post done at 3:00 am and without subsequent proofreading - I never bother to proofread or spell check my posts on any boards).
I am definitely not bull-headed or strongly set in my views except on a couple of issues and usually like to consider new or opposing points of view. Socially, I am quite shy and quiet. I control myself at all times and am very calm. I have never had a girlfriend. In fact, I have never even asked anybody out - I am simply too shy to do that. I do not go to parties and do not drink alcohol (or smoke) at all. I am very polite, perhaps overly so in some situations. I am good at reading what others think of me, but I am not good at conveying what I think of them without explicitly stating it. I am also very good at persuading people to do something. I do not have many friends, but this can partially be accounted for by the fact that I move a lot and by the time I make friends in one place I generally move somewhere else.
